The Threshold at Last Breath
Response to the Devil's Doctrine of Universalism
(Excerpt: The Redeemed)
The mortal breath is where the kingdoms part,
The final forge that shapes the human heart.
To bow the knee within these fleeting days,
And crush the idols made of stubborn clay,
Is dying to the flesh to wake the soul,
Through Jesus' wounds alone made truly whole.
For Christ has conquered the grave, sin, and death,
To breathe in us His resurrecting breath;
He broke the tyrant's grip to set us free,
Unchained from condemnation,
to walk by faith, in purity.
By His own blood, the heavy price He paid,
Our ransom won, God’s fervent love displayed.
Delivered from appointment to wrath,
We walk the narrow, bright, and righteous path.
This present cross yields life that never dies;
To the dawn of glory in unclouded skies,
When saints redeemed receive their rewards:
and in the Kingdom, the eternal glory and joy
of their Savior and Lord.
